Sport at St Aidan's
At St Aidan’s Primary School, there is a variety of sporting opportunities available. Each year, we participate in the following activities and competitions: cricket, cross country, football, netball, rounders, sports hall athletics, summer athletics and dodgeball. Various after school clubs help train the children to participate in the competitions and be selected for the teams.
We are proud of our sporting achievements. The school believes that competitive sport is important and that children learn to both win and lose in the correct manner. At St Aidan’s, we believe that sport and physical activity is for everyone regardless of ability, sex, race, or disability. PE and Sport in school allows us to promote and develop teamwork, strong ethics, continual enhancement, inclusion and inspiring potential. We provide sporting opportunities for all our children whilst encouraging and developing our elite and talented pupils.
